Supplier Code of Conduct
What we expect from every supplier.
Zero tolerance for bribery and corruption — and clear standards on people, safety, environment, quality and confidentiality.
Anti-bribery and anti-corruption
No bribes, kickbacks, facilitation payments or any improper advantage — offered, paid, requested or accepted — to or from REL employees, customers, officials or anyone else.
Gifts, hospitality and conflicts of interest
No gifts, cash, vouchers, loans or hospitality to REL employees to win or keep business.
Fair competition
No price-fixing, bid-rigging, market-sharing or exchange of competitor information.
Human rights and labour
No child labour and no forced, bonded or trafficked labour.
Health and safety
A safe workplace: machine guarding, safe handling of chemicals, fire safety, first aid, and suitable protective equipment free of charge.
Environment
Hold and follow every environmental permit.
Quality and traceability
Meet REL purchase specifications and drawings, and the automotive quality requirements REL passes on (IATF 16949 customer-specific requirements).
Responsible sourcing
Know where raw materials come from.
Confidentiality and data
Drawings, specifications, prices and customer information shared by REL are confidential: use them only for REL work, protect them, and return or destroy them when asked.
Trade compliance
Follow export, import, customs and sanctions rules, with correct origin and classification documents..
Records, audits and improvement
Keep records that show compliance with this Code and allow REL, or REL’s customers, to audit them with reasonable notice.
Raising concerns
Report any breach of this Code, or any request for a bribe, in confidence to REL management.
